I haven't been updating this blog nearly as much as I would like, so I thought now would be a good time to show what I have made so far.
For one, we had recently finalised the colour scheme of our application. As seen here, it consists of primary colours alongside a neutral light grey, although they were initially derived from the Ngee Ann Polytechnic logo.
The bright colours invoke a sense of high energy and playfulness, and we hope to make the app a place for Ngee Ann Polytechnic students to have a bit of fun and personality on their profiles.
Our application icon and splash screen are also completed. The colours are derived from the colour scheme as well. Regarding the logo itself, I decided to make it appear like a comic book's sound effect bubble while also utilising screen tone. This helps to reinforce the high energy of the application, which was fueled by the name of the application.
Unfortunately, there isn't much else to show. Until we have completed a few more items, the next blog post will likely take a little longer. Even so, I hope you look forward to the updates as well as our finished product!
